Lilly Endowment Supports Fathers and Families Center’s Efforts to Empower Fathers and Equip Families So that Children Thrive

Indianapolis, Ind. — Fathers and Families Center (FFC) has received a two-year, $2 million grant from Indianapolis-based Lilly Endowment Inc. The grant represents an extension of the Endowment’s longstanding support for the organization. The grant will support FFC’s programs and services that foster economic development, self-sufficiency, and enhanced parenthood skills for low-income fathers. Since 1993, Fathers and Families Center has helped roughly 26,000 fathers and their families not just survive but thrive in these areas through life skills education, employability training, education and workforce certification preparation, job placement, advocacy, and more.
