FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: March 16, 2026

Indianapolis, IN — Fathers and Families Center has received a $500,000 grant from United Way of Central Indiana’s Capital Projects Fund to support costs associated with relocating to a new space designed to expand programming and better serve dads and their families across our community.

The grant will help offset expenses that are tied to FFC’s upcoming move, which will create greater opportunities to deliver programs that empower fathers, strengthen families, and improve outcomes for children across Central Indiana.

By transitioning to a larger facility, Fathers and Families Center aims to increase access to its services and to enhance its ability to support fathers through workforce development, parenting education, and family stability programs.

“We are incredibly grateful to United Way of Central Indiana for their investment in the future of Fathers and Families Center,” said Larry Smith, President & CEO. “This grant allows us to take an important step toward expanding our impact and ensuring that more fathers in Indianapolis have access to the resources, support, and opportunities they need to build strong families.”

United Way of Central Indiana continues to invest in initiatives that strengthen families and communities across a multi-county region. United Way’s support helps organizations like FFC grow their capacity and reach more individuals who benefit from critical programs and services.

Additional details about the new location and timeline for the move will be announced at a later date.
